Day-30

Lost...
Today was a testing day to say the least. The sage was so
thick that the trail disappeared completely. It seemed like
we were just blindly cutting through sage brush most of the day. Michael
was having a horrible time getting through it since his motorcycle
does not have as much ground clearance as our dirt bikes. We decided
to try to abandon the trail and cut through the fields towards a few
houses in the distance. Unfortunately being that this was ranging
country barbwire fences kept blocking us from making
progress towards the houses and what we hoped was a road. We would
run into a fence search for a gate get through only to find a new
fence in our way.
It
was getting very dark very quickly so we decided to abandon
the bikes next to two fences we couldn't get through and
hike to the nearest collection of buildings. We made our way to an
empty double-wide trailer surrounded by barns.
It was night time and we were starving with a dead cell phone. It’s
time to see if we can get help from some perfect strangers…
